Perfect Weather for August Action!

The weather was cool and comfortable as the posse caught up with the bank robbers hiding out up Small Road. Dusty Gray and Packin Granny didn't miss a shot as many a desperado fell to their bullets. Hirem manged to get the most hits in the least amount of time and Wild Shot stopped by to help the posse finish off the those who were still kickin'. It was his first time joinin' a posse and he did a fine job of it. We look forward to havin' him shoot with us again. We even had a couple of Texas Rangers helpin' as they was a lookin' for the same bunch. Thanks to Robin for her help keepin' track of the shootin' for us. See ya'll down at the Pawnee Annual Shoot in a few more days! Keep yer powder dry.

Gunfight Leaves Desperado in Bad Way

July 10, 2010 was a fateful day for Wyo Mean Roy, when the posse that had been chasing him up the canyon finally caught him on his own ranch. The fightin' was fast and furious with lead and shot flyin' with deadly accuracy. With most of his gang already on the ground he decided it was time to make a break for his cabin down on the creek. With his woman Morning Glory shootin' at his side he grabbed the score sheet and we haven't been able to smoke him out yet. Sooner or later he's got to come out and we'll be ready to grab him and make him cough up the information we're desperately seeking. Start thinking about gitin' ready for the WYSAS Top Gun Shoot in Casper on Aug. 1. We need to defend ourselves once again as villainous outlaws from all across Wyoming try to take what we've come to claim as our own. The Top Gun Trophy!

This chilly spring day got finished the smoke of Poor Bill and Crow Dog pretty close to horizontal with the chilled breeze.  One new shooter had a great day and did some quick learning.
Bob Wire and Wyoming Roy shot a clean match. The BobWire guy took top honors before heading back south to cross the border toward home. Laura fed most of the posse except for those heading to a graduation or back to spent time with family.  It was a good and friendly shoot.

April had a "Pretty Good Shoot and a few fair shooters. "

Posse members was holed up in the draw near the Shamrock saloon for about 3 hours trying to figure out the good and the bad from the ugly.  We got 'er done though.  Five mixed stages, pretty good weather,  and enough grub to make sure no-one was hungry mad it a fun event.  See you all around the shooting circuit.
In March -
The weather finally cooperated with us and 16 shooters from three states had a great time rescuing Tonto from the desparados. Seven new shooters got to experience the fun and excitement of Cowboy Action Shooting at a beautiful setting in Sybille Canyon. After the shoot we all enjoyed the hearty beef stew and pie at the Shamrock Saloon. Anyone who's experienced Laura's cooking knows what a great job she does at feeding a  hungry posse after a fierce gunfight. We look forward to seeing even more cowboys and gals at the next shoot on the second Saturday in April.
