Sybille Shooters

Gunslingers from Arizona, South Dakota, Colorado and Nebraska joined the Wyoming posse members to have a great shoot-out Sat Aug 9th.  Short periods of drizzle lowered the fire danger and softened the grass for the range bulls meandering about.  Tom Horn history has some folks murmuring.

Sling'n Lead spewed beer suds all over the prairie right before his beer can  hit the ground to gain the fastest time of the Wyoming Single Action Shooters annual Top Gun shoot.  The time margin was merely 3/10 second from second fastest time put in by Knight Creek Ranger who stood in awe after his beer can was broken and his beer was all over the prairie.  Sassy Cue was quick and steady to get the fastest ladies time.  Sassy also lead the Sybille Creek Shooters team to win the Governor Jim Gerringer Award for the second year in a row.  The J.R. Dalton Traveling Trophy Award was won by Morning Glory shooting Lady 49'r.

In July,

Onray outshot all the other posse member to take the top honors.  Madame Bulldog was the top lady shooter.  Three new shooters were smiling as they got back to the Shamrock Saloon.  We all enjoyed the ribs and refreshments.

In June,

Breed and Knight Creek Ranger went head to head and the Top Gun was decided on the last stage.  Twenty other gun slingers had plenty of fun shooting smoke and running the bad guys down.  The two flowers who were on the posse added color and class to the eventful morning.
